Description
I modeled this drip tray to replace the eroding original drip tray of the Teledyne ISCO Foxy Jr. fraction collector in our lab.
The part in the pictures is printed in polypropylene (Formfutura Centaur Black) and extremely robust and watertight. I highly recommend polypropylene or PETG for this print. PLA will warp when it inevitably comes in contact with liquid.
The proper orientation is shown in the picture of the build plate and requires no additional supports. The integrated break-away supports can easily be snapped off after cooling down. Polypropylene is more flexible and might require some cutting to remove the supports.
Just make sure to look at where the supports are, so you don't break off the splash cover which is right next to the supports.
