Customizable LED Light Diffuser

A customizable OpenSCAD model of an LED light diffuser for home routers or other equipment without software brightness control.
This is very useful if you have your router in your bedroom or in the living room and you want to reduce the brightness of your activity LED lights if they interfere with your sleep.

The model is currently optimized for MikroTik RB4011 routers (power and SFP+ activity LED and the Ethernet activity LEDs), but can be customized in OpenSCAD to fit other equipment.

You can make the fit tighter by adjusting the diffuser height parameter in the OpenSCAD Customizer.

Printing guidelines

• Setup OpenSCAD and export the stl file (optional)
  • Optionally modify the project to fit your equipment
  • Export the stl file
• No supports are needed
• Print in PETG with a 100% rectilinear infill and a 0.2 mm layer height
