Model Summary:
- Improved Design: I've created an additional version of a charcoal filter.
- Active Charcoal Pellets: Unlike the original model designed for carbon filter pads, mine is tailored for coal-activated carbon pellets.
- Screwable and Refillable: It's screwable, making refilling a breeze. No fuss or hassle!
- Mounting Points: You can use the same M3x30 screws as the previous model for effortless installation. Or you can simply use any screws with nuts on the other side. The bottom model is made with enough clearance for the nuts to fit.
- Cleaner Air: Enjoy cleaner, fresher air with my user-friendly charcoal filter.
Slicing the model:
- I have made the mesh parts in OrcaSlicer. See the image bellow. You may need to tweak the infill density for your application.
Mounting the back piece of the filter
- There are two approaches of how to mount the back piece of the filter to the printer.
- Also keep in mind that if you are going not to use original screws. You will need to make the mounting holes for the fan larger!
1. You can use a nut and a M3x30 screw for assembly.

2. Manually create a thread in hole of the back piece when using the M3x30 screw
