Description
Yet another portafilter funnel. There's many funnels like this, but this one is mine!
A little funnel which attaches magnetically to a portafilter. Mostly designed to guide grounds into portafilter when attached to grinder, but should also be fine for manual puck prep, eg. WDT.
Designed to fit my Rancilio portafilter with a 18g VST basket. Doesn't make contact with anything but the top of the basket, so should fit most ‘standard’ espresso portafilters, regardless of lug position, etc.
Uses 5x3mm neodymium magnets. Can fit up to 12 of them, but 4 is enough.
The funnel has a small outer diameter which means that it should fit most grinders which have portafilter hooks (tested with my DF64).
Printed mine in Prusament PC-CF blend, 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer height. Should be fine with a 0.6 nozzle and 0.3 layer height, too.
Should print without supports if printed upside-down. Use a brim if it detaches during printing.
The usual warnings about filament/3d printing food safety apply. Don't use this if you have too many microplastics in your diet already, etc.
