Lap Monitor Transponder and Battery Holder

This is one of my first designs that I made to print in Fusion 360. It is designed to bolt around the front body mount posts of a Traxxas Slash 2WD R/C car. I printed it using PLA but you can use a more resilient filament if you desire. The bolt holes are for a 8/32" machine bolt. The battery is held in by a thin tab and a body mount cotter pin is used to hold the tab. I included the Fusion 360 file if you want to customize it. The transponder is from Lap Monitor and it just sets in the frame. I used a drill to make a hole in the hood of the R/C car body so the IR sensor protrudes out.
