Description
UPDATE: I designed and printed this before I learned about using PETG as support interface. Using PETG as the support interface for this PLA model has greatly improved the bottom. with the engine holes, surface quality. I hope this helps you. Engine testing for this real vehicle is in progress. I wish them success!

Draft design of future hypersonic transport vehicle. This vehicle has 6 engines. The nozzles are printed separately and fits into vehicle. The vehicle is a vertical takeoff, vertical landing vehicle with three control surfaces (wings). The model has “mouse ears” on the three wings to support printing. They are easily removed post printing.
The files include a forward section and an aft section. You can print them separately with the flat ends on the print surface but with any warping they will not connect evenly. I had that issue so I chose to print them as a single body. The support of the bottom is crucial and hard to get perfect. I decided to add perfect putty and sand the resulting surface.
I would love to see some makes, please upload.
