Oral B Electric Brush Head Replacement Identification Ring

Oral B always includes a plastic ring to differentiate between the owners of different brush heads so they don't get mixed up, but the color is random and there are only 4 color choices. This means you might have the same shade twice, which renders their purpose useless. With this, you can print your own in a custom color which gives you more variety or allows you to replace a broken or misplaced ring.

This is compatible with all of the non-IO electric brush heads.

Printing instructions

Print at the lowest layer height possible (0.08 mm worked well in my testing) and use a generous outer brim. PLA works fine, you can also try printing it in TPU, which will probably allow you to reuse it on other brush heads, as the size is quite tight with PLA and can be difficult to remove. No supports required.

After printing, remove the brim and push it over the bottom of the brush head with some force until it clicks in.

You can also use the provided Fusion 360 or STEP file to make changes in case your printer is not accurate in terms of the size of the printed part.
