Description
All of the other HSW multimeter mounts couldnt fit this absolute unit of a multimeter. I took the hollow honeycomb STL from the original files and appended three of them to the back of a the large bucket in Blender, in my opinion having the entire honeycomb is much more structurally sound and doesn't require additional hollow honey combs, so thats why I chose this method for mounting. I also added hooks on either side for the black and red cables/probes.
My particular multimeter is approx 48mm thick front to back and 91mm wide, my brand is Ideal, a brand sold in Lowe's stores. If you need to adjust the width or length try adjusting one plane at a time (X or Y) in Prusa/Orca Slicer. I have the blender file available if anyone needs it I can get it.
The print in the included pictures was done with light blue PETG from Polymaker using the default 0.4 nozzle settings in Orca Slicer on my Bambu P1S. I painted on very mild tree supports using the paint-on-support tool, just for the abslutely crucial areas, could prob mess around with positioning or shape to remve the need entinrely but i think it came out just fine.
If you are in agreement with me about the full honeycomb making a better mount thing send some links to other remixes you wish had this more stable option and I will rig it up for you.
Thanks!
