Wheel nut dust cap with direction indicator

Hey team,

I've put together a simple lug / wheel nut dust cover to suit 21mm nuts. This model could be scaled up or down to suit your needs.

The reason for this design is twofold;

1. To keep dirt and water away from your wheel nuts and wheel studs to prevent corrosion and secondly
2. To allow you to keep an eye on whether your wheel nuts have loosened over time

Wheel nuts with similar indicators are pretty common on commercial vehicles in Australia and typically forms part of the safety equipment on these vehicles.

Rather than using the most common design for injection moulded parts which tend to use an arrow, I've gone with a debossed arrow with chamfered edges so that it can print nicely without the need for supports.

On the inside of the nut cover I've included some relief cylinders so that the main surface of the nut is holding on the cap, rather than the corners.

I've gone for PETG in black so they don't stick out too much and suit the centre caps of my vehicle.
