Description
Absolutely the Best Zte Brother Tape Holder.
Some research and tests went into developing gripping profile for tapes, and proper ratio of spacers to grippers so it holds 6,12,18,24mm tapes identically.
Can be scaled vertically and horizontally by adding “linear_base” elements (either print additional “base_joiner_horizontal” or “border_part_center_joiner_vertical_l and r to join two (or more) linear_base prints in desired direction”)
This is example of 2x2 grid of linear_base models:
You can make 1x3, 3x3, 1x1 grids as you like, just print enough linear bases and joiners.
Standard 1x1 grid doesn't require “base_joiner_horizontal” and “border_part_center_joiner_vertical_l” + “border_part_center_joiner_vertical_r” parts, since youre not joining anything, so only top and bottom corner parts are needed. And feet, assuming you want it to stand.
I suggest not to make grids larger than 3x3 linear bases.
You'll need ~40 grippers and ~39 spacers for one linear segments (I'll edit this later when i get change to count them up - basically, print A LOT of them, they're flat and print fast. I have tapes secured in them for 3 months without problems, printed with cheapest PLA you could find)
As usual, m4 DIN912 screws are required. lenght can be anywhere between 35 and 45mm. Gif in gallery shows assembly, should be self explanatory.
SKADIS vertical joiner and hook are untested and should be considered heavy WIP.
SKADIS mount will be worked on when I have time.
RIS mount will be worked on when I have time.
HANDLE will be worked on when I have time
HINGE and LOCK to join two panels together and lock them into form of “case” will be worked on when I have time.

Added 4mm_gripper_noholes for faster printing due to vaccines.
