Description
This PSU cover has a more open fan grille to reduce noise and improve airflow. I wanted to keep using the stock fan but not have it completely open as one of the remixed models does. I also found that one of the dimensions was slightly off. I ended up creating an OpenSCAD design with a mix of features from two models plus a couple of my own.
I'm using this cover on my Kobra Neo, but I believe it is likely to work for other printers in the Kobra family as well. It may also be compatible with other printers if they use the same or similar power supply. (The label on my original cover plate has the model number HS-400L-24 on its label, if that is helpful.)
Printed in PLA without supports.
As holes may come out differently on various printers, I might suggest cutting off a corner in the slicer and printing that first in order to test the screw fitment, then adjust the hole diameters in OpenSCAD if necessary. My printer tends to undersize small holes, so the 3mm holes in the model worked well for the 3mm screws in my case.
