Description
I liked the design of TheBoJaN's model, but I decided to improve it a little. I have been using the original model a while and the acoustic ''click'' disappeared fairly quick. The radius of the inner teeth was 1.25 mm and the radius of the Spring knob was 0,875 mm. I assume the idea of it was to reduce the friction of the spring and the wheel. In time the parts will wear off a little, specially with PLA. So I changed the knob radius to match the inner teeth's 1.25 mm, and Doubled the spring's. The acoustic feedback is stronger, and they still turn without too much force. Also, if the acoustic feedback disappears in time, because of the Double spring you can visually see how many teeth's you are rotating, in theory 1 click should be 0.01 mm. I also added labels for A & B springs, and a Rotation directions on the wheels. I haven't tried to print without supports, the wheel itself don't need supports, but the Font depth is 1.5 mm, that's why I recommend supports.
You need 4x Wheel's, 2x Mount A, and 2x Mount B and additionally 4x M4 Nuts
Every model I upload comes with the Step files, I believe it helps the community.
