C270 / C310 Focus Ring + cover with leds and microphone holes

1. Introduction

This is a remix of a remix (Scatterthought) of a good Logitech C270/C310 Focus Ring design. I just add my contribution ;)

-Tighter tolerances between ring and cover.

-Change the “gear” design to better grip the lens.

-Change ring internal angle and depth to rmove any gaps between the ring and the lens to avoid dust inside the cam and around the lens.

-Add holes for the microphone of the webcam

-Ad hole for the green led of the C270/C310 to be visible when running.

1. All elements
   • PETG.
   • Layer Height: 0,2 mm
   • Min 2 perimeters
   • No supports
   • Min 20% infill
   • Infill Pattern: Gyroid

• The printed parts
• Your C270 webcam
• A mallet / rubber hammer

5. Assembly Instructions

1. First, you need to disassemble your logitech webcam. Follow this tutorial: Logitech c270 focus adjustment - YouTube
2. Fully insert the ring into the cover. You have to press hard ! A mallet or a rubber hammer can help but pay attention to not break the parts ;)
3. Place the cover and the ring onto the cam. Carefully clip the ring onto the lens gear. A gentle push to have the “click sound” should be sufficient.
4. Screw the cover. DON'T OVERTIGHTEN as you will not be able to turn the ring anymore.

5. Notes

• G-code file only made for MK3S+. The file contains some custom lines to add a pre-heating before the printing to avoid oozing during the mesh bed levelling. And a timer at the end of the print to buzz a sound once the parts has cooled down. 
• Do not use the g-code file on other machines than MK3S+ ! In any case, I recommend you to slice the .stp files by yourself to make your own g-code files.
