Description

Heyho :)

Here are my thoughts on a cool upgrade for the Q500 PC case.

I like to keep my computers off the floor. So I designed a suspension for the Q500 here.
The special points here:

  • Centre position to secure the adapter to the case and to dampen vibrations if necessary (If you print this part with TPU for example).
  • Optimised for FDM printing.
  • Easy to attach or detach the computer.
  • Slightly overengineered :)
  • As stable as possible for this size.

Print with PETG or other tough material, 100% Infill & min. 4 Perimeter.

In addition to the printed parts you will need 2 x M4 x 15 mm screws 2 x M4 nuts 1 x 4 mm (wood) screw.

Small disclaimer: Since I don't have this PC enclosure, of course, I can't say anything about the exact fit or stability :) But please send me your feedback!

If the M4 nuts are not tight enough, you can fix them with a small drop of glue so that they do not fall out during assembly.

Have fun!

PS: Of course, you need 3-4 of these assemblys for the computer to hang securely.
