Description
I didn't like the traditional stick handle for woodworking vises, it always takes forever to open and close the vise. So I decided a speed handle that can open and close the vise super fast using the handle, and you can grab it by the wheel and turn it like that when you need to put that final bit of torque on it. I'm using it for a printing press I designed but it is modeled to work with your traditional woodworking vise screw.
The model is big and if you have a 220mmx220mm print bed like me, you have to rotate it to print diagonally.
Insert the middle parts into your vise handle then snap together the connectors. then shove the wheel lock in the back side all the way so that it prevents the wheel from twisting around in the slot. If your vise lock is loose you can put some layers of tape on the flat side of it to bring it up to thickness.
The fit might be a little too tight, it is designed to friction fit together, so some sanding or shaving may be needed.
What specs I printed mine with:
Layer height: .2mm
Infill: 15% zigzag
perimeters: 3
Top/bottom layers: 6
