Description
This is a replacement part I made for my Singer Fashion Mate 237 sewing machine. It is plastic cap that enables releasing the tension when the presser foot is lifted. The cross bar was broken due to deterioration of the plastic. I think it will fit many other models of vintage Singer sewing machines that have a similar thread tension assembly.
To replace the part, unscrew the nut and swap out the part with the -|+ facing up and screw the nut back on.
Made in Fusion 360 by measuring the original tension indicator.
Printed with stock Ender 3 Neo, Creality White PLA Sample, 0.2mm layer height, needs support fro the center section.
