Raymarine Autohelm 3000 Drive Unit Spacer Washer

The Raymarine Autohelm 3000 is an automatic steering unit for sailboats that is no longer for sale.  The drive unit is sandwiched between an engagement lever and this washer in the clevis mounted to the hull or binnacle (circled in Fig 16 extract of Autohelm manual).  In addition to locating the drive unit in the center of the clevis, it also serves as a wear surface.

There are two wedges internal to the washer that capture and limit the travel of the pin in the picture of the drive unit spindle.  Two keys internal to the washer are not replicated as they are very small and not integral to the operation of the unit.

This spacer is exposed to sunlight and stress, so it is recommended to print in PETG rather than PLA.
