Description
Ok, for the damp dreams: The whole thing on MGN12C. Not all credits go to me, just the custom parts. Some you might recognize and were just modified for one or the other thing, but the adapter block is fully my work and the mother of this mod.
The adapter is available in two versions, one with heat inserts for FDM, one with threads for SLA. The latter is for the brave. I killed a hollow one at a crash straight away, but printed solid it might work. For the FDM version you might want to for low profile M3 heat inserts.
As a gentle hint: One of the top holes is there for the orbiter mount I designed. Vastly untested, but you might find it useful.
Who said endstops would need to be massive. This one is for sensorless homing and glips on the rail. Micro adjustments can be done in the slicer for the right widths.
Just the original RR endstopp with 10 mm more length. Basically needed for the beacon so it's not getting killed by the z screw.
As I saif, vastly untested, but give me a few pms if you need anything. Also needs heat inserts.
I needed to modify this one. Comes threaded for SLA printing (oh, have I noticed I can print them for you and mail them?). Main problem is, that most ducts don't fit the RR VZ carriage. Holes are shifted by 2 mm. You can do without and this has been done before. Buth with a beacon attached at least I would worry a bit.
These are rather an accident and stayed in here as a reminder. You can download them for 9 mm belts in the GitHub repo. 2.7 mm width worked for me.
First of all, this mod was designed for a floating gantry! Second warning is, the rapido needs to loose a few ribs. See picture. Easily done and no negative effect. Under normale conditions, that is. So to say, for home and office use only.
Y-offset for the beacon is 27 mm, x is zero.
The whole thing took me quite a while to setup, but it is well worth it so far. So far, as it's still in testing (around 40k currently). Its weight with 267 g all inclusive is a massive gain from the 500+ g of an EVA. And it's fun.
