Bolt Handle Knob for Tikka T1x

Tikka T1x is a great rimfire rifle, but the bolt handle is slick and small. When I run bolt faster - my fingers tend to slip off the handle from time to time.

I designed a knob that fits on top of the stock bolt handle and allows a better purchase over the bolt handle. This allows me to run the bolt faster and more consistently.

Printed with PETG at 30% infill and a supports inside of the hole only (I used a paint-on supports - see the green “plug” on a screenshot from the slicer - a view from underneath the build plate).

You will need 3 & 4 mm Allen keys and a longer than OEM screw - M5 x 65 mm Socket Head Cap Screw

1. Remove the OEM bolt using 3mm Allen key. Keep this bolt somewhere where it's not going to be lost - you'll need it to revert the bolt to its original state.

2. Insert the knob's shaft into the OEM handle, make sure it's fully seated.

3. Insert the new M5x65 screw through the knob-handle assembly.

4. Reattach the  knob-handle assembly back to the bolt, using 4mm Allen key. Do not over tighten.
