Description
Like you, I have filaments of different colors and types. The first thing I need to know when I am looking for the right spool is the filament type. I then have to look at what is written on the spools and that takes time. Each spool has it elsewhere and in different capital letters.
That's why I created these labels that are easy to slide onto the PTFE tube. I'll find my way more easily right away.
I don't have an MMU and I also wanted to print without supports and I also wanted versatility.
How to print:
So the block that slides onto the PTFE tube is printed vertically.
Labels in two colors. for nozzle 0.4 they are cut into 2 layers. Each layer a different color.
How to build:
I simply stick the label on the back of the block with instant glue. It has a marked place where to stick the label.
Print them in the colors you like or in a color matching the color of the spool.
Adjust the models as you wish. If you wanted to do something with a label that is not here, use this Onshape link to the source document in which you can easily create any other label.
