Toyota Car Remote

My son's old Toyota Corolla alarm remote control case was falling apart.  My solution was to 3D design and print a complete new remote control housing replacement.  Here is my design.  My design may match your needs, too.

The Toyota logo is created as a separate component, printed in a different coloured filament and glued with epoxy resin onto the engraved main panel.

The top cover is secured to the bottom panel by two secure points, a rear interlocking clip and a M2 x 8.5mm screw.  The M2 nut threaded insert is carefully embedded into the bottom panel via a heat source.

My print is made in PETG 1.75mm Aurarum silver and black filaments, with 0.2mm layer height and 100% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer.
