Description

The display module attaches on the front face with four M3x8 screws and nuts. M3x6 screws should also work, but may not get through the M3 nut all the way.

I added space for four M6 nuts in the bottom of the holder to add some weight and a make it more stable. You can also put some rubber foam on the bottom so it doesn´t slide around.

My display has the SH1106 chip but if the SSD1306 chip hardware on the backside of the module isn´t all to different it should work fine too.

Important note: I´ve noticed, that there may be some differences between displays depending on where you buy them. I recently got some displays where the distance between the mounting holes was different and the glass of the screen was not mounted exactly centered so the M3 screw heads didn´t fit. I´ve designed this holder for a hole spacing of 30,3 mm (horizontal) and 28,4 mm (vertical) as can be seen in the attached photo. For the rest I think you just have to try if your display fits.

Print instructions:

I printed it in PETG with 0,15 mm layer height. PLA should work just fine also. It is designed to be printed “face down” (the side where the display module gets mounted on should be on the heat bed surface).

I noticed some elephant foot on mine which affects the front botton radius a bit. You can try to compensate for that.
