Socket Box Template

A handy marking out tool for UK standard size pattress boxes. These tools can be purchased from many electrical shops, but here is a convenient printable one.

The spirit level is a 40mm*9mm acrylic tube level taken from a ‘string line level’ ( Amazon link to the ones I bought) and just snaps into place as long as it has small voids in each end.

The tool can be used to mark single or double boxes, 75mm x 75mm or 75mm x 135mm. The outer rim is the approx. size of most faceplates, so you can use it to aid marking side by side sockets.

I attached a personal logo when I printed, the uploaded files do not include it and also have a small window behind the level for extra visibility.

Printed at 0.30 layer height with 10% gyroid infill, feels nice and strong.
