Description
I really love onigiri, and I like to take them with me as a full-fledged snack. But often I have encountered a problem: it either do not fit into rectangular containers, or the container takes up too much space. And I decided to make a container dedicated for onigiri. The size is calculated for onigiri made with my onigiri kit, plus nori, plus packaging. The box easily accommodates two onigiri, a bag of soy sauce, a wet/dry napkin.
But this doesn't mean that it's build exclusively for onigiri.
A beautiful triangular box, with reliable fasteners, can store everything you can put in it!!!
To assemble, you will need all the printed parts (Lock parts in duplicate), as well as 6 M3 x 35mm screws.
I would recommend printing the gasket from a soft TPU filament.
The rest of the parts I printed from PETG(from “3d-club” ;) ).
Attention! Don't consider this container as waterproof or vacuum sealed - a lot depends on your printing settings and skills. I do not recommend using it with items requiring to be 100% waterproof. For such items, use appropriate factory products with such characteristics.
I plan to extend the functionality of the Onigiri box with additions! So keep an eye on the project, and if you're interested, follow me! ;)
P.S. Special thanks to my friend faith_healer, for constructive criticism and proofreading function.
