Description
This brand of organizer does not seem to exist any more but a box of the same type appears to be available under a different name:
My kids have some Simply Tidy Latchmate boxes (which now appear to be replaced by similar items on Amazon) that they use for homeschool. The latch on one of them broke at the hinge. Rather than toss the case, I decided to design and print a replacement.
Simply place the part on the build plate in the orientation provided and enable supports to the build plate. Only the hinge itself (the cylinders that stick out the sides of the part) absolutely need supporting. The angles of the rest of the model can print without any issues.
Use a tough material like PETG and print with 3-4 perimeters and 20% infill for strength.
Really, it's pretty self-explanatory. Place one of the hinges through the hole of the box and firmly press the other hinge until it snaps into the other hole.
In all likelihood, this part will be tougher than the original.
