Description
I wanted a camera mount that was sturdy, simple, with minimal failure points. I’ve got my printer on a Gladiator metal shelf and thought the camera mount would be more sturdy on this than freestanding & more adjustable than connected directly to the printer, but I wasn’t finding anyone who had done this type of adapter. So naturally, I went down the rabbit hole to make one. I created the adapter plate to fit nice and snug into the metal frame holes for the Gladiator shelf. Feel free to take this adapter and add it to any accessory for your purposes.
Then I took the arm & hinge from @ehnto on Thingiverse because it felt like a solid, simple design. But I didn’t necessarily want to dismantle my c270, at this point, so I grabbed the nice-fitting top mount from @zumselman on Thingiverse. I didn’t cut that out super well since I have very minimal 3d modeling skills. BUT then I decided I wanted a swivel head so I could not only adjust the arm but the direction the camera points since the c270 doesn’t adjust side to side. I love that the m5 nut sits right into the head. You’ll just need to use an m5 screw that's 12mm long.
And that’s how we get to my current design.

Feel free to remix or adjust for your needs. I’d love to see any ways you utilize the Gladiator adapter for your own purposes and chances I’d print and use them too!
Supports: Recommended for adapter base hinge - connector piece only. Or for overhangs of screw holes if your printer is not able to bridge the gaps.
