MacBook Privacy Shield (Camera Cover)

A simple and elegant temporary camera cover for your MacBook. Tested to fit on the 2020 MacBook Pro. Does not fit on the newer Apple Silicon MacBook Pros. Print it in black for stealthiness or with bright colors for a constant reminder that your cover is on.

Honestly I don't have a strong opinion on whether this is necessary or not, but sometimes better be safe than sorry. But just watch this and tell me this doesn't make you wonder…

This slides over the camera with a somewhat loose (but flush) fit. When you need the camera, simply remove it (or slide it sideways) by grabbing it from the top, which is facilitated by its textured back. Great for work-from-home, maybe a bit less so when carrying your MacBook around a lot.

By the way, there are stories of people breaking their screens because they forgot to remove their camera covers when closing their laptops (or because their glued-on covers were too thick), so make sure this doesn't happen to you! Obviously I'm not responsible if you do break your screen using my cover ;)
