Pill Bottle Label Ring

October 4, 2023
Description
This device attaches to a medium sized pill bottle to help the user differentiate the bottle from other medium sized pill bottles. If one bottle has the ring and another doesn't, the user can feel for the ring even in the dark to differentiate between the 2 pill bottles. If the user is visually impaired, a large label can be added to the smooth area of the Ring. If the user is blind, they can feel for and count the notches on the ring to differentiate between multiple medications. The Ring is reusable and simply snaps on/off so users with arthritis can easily install it. Very importantly, the Ring is intended to not affect the bottle's child lock and is meant to not fall off without the cap being removed. It can still break off if mishandled, so a strong and stiff filament is recommended.
Example use case:
Medication #1: No ring
Medication #2: Ring with no notches
Medication #3: Ring with 1 notch
Medication #4: Ring with 2 notches
Medication #5: Ring with 3 notches
