Description
This is a remix of lil_wave's remix of the Cool Mouse Lamps, especially of Mouse2.
I wanted to have a hanging version of the mouse, holding a large globe light bulb (the print in the pictures is scaled by 130%).
The light bulb holder should have a maximum diameter of about 28mm for the unscaled model. If you can't find one that is thicker, you can heat up the arms slightly with hot air and bend them. Otherwise you can easily scale the model and make it a bit bigger, as I did. This created a very nice, snug fit for the E27 lamp holder for me.
Depending on the translucency of your filament, 2 to 4 outer perimeters are probably a good idea. My print uses RecyclingFabrik PLA “Flauschiges Schaf” with 2 perimeters and you can see the infill quite a lot.
Tree supports will work best for this model, two perimeters for the tree supports was sufficient for me.
You can use the cut and dowel tool from PrusaSlicer (but the dowels didn't fit for me, they didn't have enough clearance. Make sure to scale them down a little bit) to cut the model, depending on the height your printer can achieve.
The transition of the tail is not perfect due to the mesh. You can see a slight step and the tail is smoother than the rest of the model. However, this is somewhat similar to real mouses :)
