Description
My main bathroom is fairly original, circa late 1950's. There is an orginal vent fan/light combo in the ceiling. The motor finally died and I was not interested in tearing out the old fan and replacing with a new one. I'm not the carpentry type of person, nor is my husband. I opted to try to fit a new motor into the old housing by designing a bracket that would adapt a new motor into the old housing. Although this technically isn't a repair part, I am repairing something. The old style motor was not available anywhere, so my options were limited. I was able to design the mount, print it and install it and it works great! I was able to keep the charm (if that is what you can call it) of my 50's salmon pink bathroom with the vintage fan.
Printed in PTEG. I was able to take a modern fan motor and use it in my 50's fan housing. Best part is that the fan exhausts much better.
