Description
While these remotes or clones are cheap enough - I often break a perfectly good remote off at the keychain because they're so thin!
This is a replacement case for a 2 button BFT R BCB 0678. It prints quickly and without supports in two pieces and utilises the original PCB, case screw, and button.
The design has been made to be similar in size as the original with a tougher end for the keychain loop. Although the clear lens is not utilised, the shell has been printed thinly above the LED to allow the LED to clearly illuminate (see photo).
While you can print however you like, I printed in ABS and PETG with:
If you live in a hot climate or often leave your gate remote in your car I would recommend printing in PETG, ABS, or ASA.
Do note - as above I needed to print with 0.1mm X-Y hole compensation on my printer for the original screw to fit, although the model was designed correctly. Depending on your printer and filament calibration you may not have to.
