Description
This is an adaptation of the camera back from the Articulating Raspberry Pi Camera Mount for Prusa MK3 and MK2, inspired by and simplified from the Raspberry Pi Hi Quality Camera Case Adapter.
I've adjusted the back plate of the original mount to allow space for both the screws on the back of the camera module, as well as the ribbon cable connector at the bottom. The edges of the mount were expanded to be flush with the sides of the camera's PCB, but if you need to access the pins/solder pads opposite the ribbon connector, just message me and I'll make the edit to get the casing out the way. Or feel free to do it yourself; I've provided both the Fusion 360 and STEP files for further remixing.
The best part about the holes for the screws and connector is that they are just the right size to allow the mount to connect to the camera, without putting any pressure on the delicate top-soldered components of the board. Plus, I left clearance around the ribbon connector so as to facilitate making the connection with the cable.
Happy printing!
