IKEA JÄRVFJÄLLET office chair headrest blocker

Simple print to prevent the headrest from falling when someone leans on it (it happened a lot in my household).

Installation instructions…

• Remove the 2 screws on side of headrest mount,
• Remove headrest,
• Insert print into the hole with the “spike” outward an touching themount (is a little tight, may need a bit of a shove),
• Carefully reinstate the headrest,
• re-insert screws.

If you're wanting to make a similar item the angles at the bottom are not 90°. The bottom facing front of tghe chair is 94°, the angle touching the bar at back of chair is 79°.

NB: This holds the head rest at full height. If you want it lower, design your own.
