Description
For work I do a lot of Teams and webEx calls so I have a clamp-held ring light with an inline adjustment and on/off switch in the usb cable, and a webcam.
The webcam has a usb cable that is marginally thicker than the cable for the ring light.
My desk setup means that it has to go along the top of the monitor - mine is a curved samsung but I have checked it fits on a HP and Lenovo monitor we have. My monitor is also slightly thicker on the sides than on the top hence the down bracket is very slightly wider.
Basically its a simple bracket that slides snugly over either top corner of the monitor and has some channels to hold a usb cable for a ring light and/or webcam with a space between the channels to place the switch (see photos). One channel is 6.5mm wide (outside width) while the other is 7.0mm wide for the camera cable.
Print standing on short edge and use tree supports for the upper channels. I printed it with and without a small raft - speed will vary depending on your printer but my tests were anywhere between 1.5hrs to 2hr 44min with various speed settings.
Printed on an Ender 3V2 with Sonic Pad in PLA silk black. With raft and tree support about 28g.
