Extrusion Slot Rail - CAD files for your projects

These are CAD files for the extrusion v-slot rail, to be used with your DIY projects (boxes, holders, etc..), which you want to attach to an aluminium extrusion (on your 3D printer for example).

I was designing a box which should be attached to an extrusion and couldn't find ready made model/sketch of the rail. It is quite easy to sketch yourself, although I spent quite some time tuning the details to fit perfectly (this will however depend on your printer)

I made two versions: Loose and Tight
You can find both Fusion 360 and STEP files for both versions here.
You should place them directly touching the side of your box for tight tolerance between your box and the extrusion.

I also made test STLs which are just 5mm long with a little tab in place of the box so you can print them and test them on your extrusion to test your tolerances.
