OEM Creality DD Gantry & Creality Dual Gear Extruder adapter [90deg version] for Hero Me Gen 5

This is a new version of my old adapter which is rotated by 90deg. It is a bit less balanced (didn't notice a change however) over the extrusion, but it doesn't limit the X and Z axis as the original did so you can use your full build volume and don't need the X axis endstop extension part nor update your firmware to limit the X.

UPDATE: Added v2.0 - this one has more support on the front side to counteract the torque by the stepper motor. On the original design, when printing PETG with faster retractions I noticed the adapter was flexing a bit, which made retraction settings less precise. This version better supports the front side and prevents skewing. You will need one screw a bit longer, at least M3x18. This also requires a bit more support material, I chose 0.23mm space between support interface and the part, then I ran a utility knife on top and bottom, which made removal much easier.

I am not sure if Creality still sells it, but it's the one seen in this video by CHEP

Part should be oriented correctly, if not, print it on the flat side as shown on the picture above, a small support is needed for the gantry plate tab, which is there to make it more stable.
Use high infill (80%+) - it is a structural part. I printed it with PETG.

You will need two M3x15 or longer screws and two M3 nuts.
For v2.0 you will need one screw longer - at least M3x18 

I tried adding the hex holes for press fitting the nuts, but since this face is printed on the bed, the elephant foot syndrom gave inconsistent results, so there are just two holes and you need a bit longer screws.

The original extruder stepper cable from the OEM DD kit is long enough even for this orientation.
