Dice Box for D&D

This box is perfectly sized to fit a set of dice so that the sliding lid closes tight enough to prevent the dice from falling out when the box is tossed around. 

The lid can be slid underneath the box on either rail, with the upper rail raising the tray slightly, or slide it part way along the bottom rail to turn the lid into a small tray for rolling your dice. Convenient!

There are two sizes available. The first is sized to fit my set of Haxtec metal dice. The second fits a set of plain Chessex resin dice. 

The metal dice tray has extra space for a 3d6 and a another for whater. 

The resin dice tray doesn't have extra space as it was made for someone new to D&D and I needed the space to include the labels. There's a version without labels as well.

Because no one can agree on a standard size for dice, even the same company, I can't know your dice will fit. You might want to measure and check the tolerances yourself before commiting the filament and time.

D20 (face to face): 19.2mm

Magnets

The lid and box both fit 3 6x3mm cylindrical magents in each slot, so 12 magnets in total. You can use fewer, but the grab won't be as nice.

Printing Instructions

 Resolution: .12 - .2mm, but I like .16mm layer height for a nicer surface texture.

For the best results, print the box at a 45 degree angle and the opening for cards facing upwards only as pictured below with normal supports touching buildplate only. It's a waste of filament, but it prevents any sagging from bridging in the card storage.
