Description
I have a cold room in which there is supposed to be a door knob on the door, but it was missing when I bought the house.
The door is closed tightly, therefore there is no need of a bolt mechanism to make sure the door stays shut.
I decided to design this to solve two problems:
1: Opening the door was somewhat difficult and I had to jam my fingers in the door hole.
2: There was a draft because of the door hole.
The design was done to accommodate different door thicknesses and to clamp on both sides of the door so it is firmly secured.
The knob's depth can be adjusted as well depending on how you want your door knob to fit.
Screw clearances are at 0.2mm so everything should print well as is.
No need for supports or anything else if you have a somewhat well tuned printer.
-To have full mechanism installed you will need to print 2x CoverS, 2x KnobS and 1x ScrewS
Hopefully this can help someone who was in the same situation as me!
Cheers
