Water Spigot Key

Modeled after the ZERN hydrant key, part number P1300-PART-13-KEY according to Google Lens. There are other “water keys” on Printables already but I felt up to the challenge of modeling this little key for our maintenance staff and the internet. I used some calipers and the actual metal key with Fusion 360 to draw this up.

Alright, the first drawing of the key which closely resembles the actual water key does not work well printed in PLA. It actually snapped in the “handle” which was not what I expected. So, I drew a second version that is less true to the model but did really well in the real world test. I've included it as “beefed up” in the files. Print it horizontally with supports for maximum strength. I printed it with 25% infill.
