Runescape Quest Icon Spinner

This is a moving spinnable version of the quest marker icon from the MMORPG ‘Runescape’ made by Jagex.

Introduced in the quest ‘Ancient Awakening’, The new in-game spinning quest marker was far easier to see and use. Reddit users were quick to make and upvote posts about it, and I personally loved it.

 I immediately wanted to have my own version and figured it would be a fun fidget toy too.

This model is a snap-in-place type. The middle spinner has two balled ends at the top and bottom, and they snap into a balled-out pocket at the top and bottom of the outer ring. Force isn't really needed, but if you paint it, it might not be as loose as it can be 😊

The back gem is separate so there's more surface on the build plate, and less support is needed. Depending on your settings, clean-up on the back side may be needed. The gem is small and can be easily popped on with a small bead of glue if you wish.

This model is modified from Jagex game assets. As this is not a ‘for-sale’ website and only for personal enjoyment (4.1.5), changes were also made to the model to make it work as well (5.3)
