Description
Update 10/26/2023: Bit Holder bodies now have internal version numbers
Update 10/23/2023: New caps with labels for the different bit packs
This bit holder is mostly printed in place. The main body and bit holder assembly print in place, and you give the center a little wiggle after it is done printing, and it breaks free. After you break it free, you screw the cap on. You may want to put a drop of superglue or acetone on the threads before you screw the cap to the center shaft. Your printer will need to be accurate to print this, there are three sets of threads that need to be printed. The first connects the bit holder to the cap (right-hand thread), the second holds the bit holder open when it is fully extended (left-hand thread) and the final holds the bit holder closed (right-hand thread). This should print without issue, the model has gone through over 100 design iterations and dozens of test prints to ensure everything works as it should.
