Fruit fly trap

A simple fruit fly trap using a cone design with a bit of flare.  Includes a raise fly to guide the fly where it needs to go while also providing humans easily identifiable marking of what this contraption is.

Grab yourself a 2.5" regular mouth jar and the metal canning ring lid band.  

Print on an angle to give the best looking top surface that is visible when assembled.  

Trap liquid recipe:

Apple cidre vinegar + dish soap.  1:1 water to apple cidre vinegar + a few drops of soap.  mix gently to minimize bubbles.  

Remove the all sources of low hanging fruit as flies do not gravitate to trap unless it's the last source of food.
