Description

NOTE: This is an add-on to the pre-existing "QUICK-CLIP : Base Starter Kit"

Post-Processing Difficulty: Easy (Ready to Use from Printer)

Tools Needed: None

Introduction & Instructions:

QUICK-CLIP is a versatile mounting system that I designed for backpack and MOLLE webbing. This is a small 60 mL (2 fl. oz.) twist top container that I designed to go with the  base starter set (found under my profile). It is attached to and removed from the mounting system in the same way as the other modules.

The container fit is fairly tight to keep dry items somewhat water resistant, but if you're wanting greater water resistance, you can print the included seal in TPU to form a gasket. You can also print the seal in different colors of PLA for an accent ring to help you identify what is in separate containers (or different colored lids!)

If the threads are too tight from the start, try running them back and forth with the other threads to smooth any printer remnants. Otherwise, you can scale the X & Y dimensions in your slicer by 1%+ for a slightly looser tolerance.

I printed these with 0.16mm layer lines with PLA with no supports or brims.

Hope you enjoy!
