Ikea nordli Magsafe holder

The first in a series of Ikea Nordli accessories! 

This Magsafe holder slides in between the slats on the IKEA Nordli. The mount is stable, firm and has a cable channel on the back. 

Should fit any size IKEA Nordli headboard:

Printing instructions: 

Due to the shape needed to have a firm mount on the Nordli, this will need supports no matter how you orient it. You can print it in two ways:  

Standing on the back side of the T-shape. If you do this, remember that you'll need supports not only on build plate, but between the parts of the T-shape as well. 

On its side. If you do this, use organic supports only on build plate and you should be fine. I printed it on its side for better layer orientation.

I am not responsible for damage to your phone, should it fall off the mount. Magsafe has generally proven to be strong enough to hold a phone even in a bumpy car ride, but it is not necessarily designed for it. Use at your own risk! 

I have not been able to try it with an iPhone, so I can't say if it works in landscape mode with the new features. If you do try, please let me know! 

Since Ikea furniture is self assembly, the exact tolerance between the slats is never absolutely exact. Small variations might occur. As designed the print is tight but does slide in. It's tight intentionally, so that the phone sits secure. You may need to adjust the scaling a tiny bit depending on your filament choice. I use Addnorth XPLA, which tend to shrink about 0.4% for instance.
