Description
The Benriner kitchen slicer is a staple kitchen tool, being much cheaper than the European brands of mandoline. I love mine. The julienne slicer / comb style blades are excellent, but they tend to get lost on the bottom of the drawer, and the blades are so fine they can get damaged rattling around. So I built this. The idea is to store it with blades down so they're protected. But you can see which is which because of the non-linguistic markings beside the slots, marking the 2mm, 4mm, and 8mm cutters.
The slots are loose enough to make it very easy to get the blades in and out. The top and bottom edges of the slots are curved in case you want to draw them out by tilting them like pulling a book off a shelf.
The sliced version of the file includes two pauses.
Hope it's useful! Makes and ratings appreciated.
