LED light strip mount for the Ender 3
or anything with aluminum extrusion
Designed to fit a standard adhesive-backed LED strip from a basic hardware store. I cut a 300 mm LED strip in half and wired it directly to the 24V DC power supply via a buck converter.
- Universal - will work on any extrusion with a 6 mm gap.
- 166 mm - overall length.
- 160 mm - max length available for light strip.
- Cutout channel for wires.
- Clips to regular Ender extrusion.
- Nestles nicely behind Y axis carriage arm and forward of top crossmember.

- Improve my design for additive manufacture thought process.
- Give back to the open source community.
Design requirement needs:
- Illuminate the print.
- Do not interfere with the original hardware.
- Inexpensive.
- Print without support.
- Ease of use.
- Aesthetically pleasing.
Print with trident to build plate for best results with zero supports required.
