Description

3D Printy has provided a great tool, but let's face it, most folks don't want to learn a new language and would rather just have the STL.  This set of STLs are specific to the Prusament spools with the cardboard center as well as Hatchbox spools.

I measured to Prusament spool:

200mm - overall diameter

101mm - inner cardboard spool diameter

58mm - spool width

For Hatchbox spools:

200mm x 80mm x 62mm

I uploaded the gcode files so that one may compare them to the photos of my print.  They use the Input Shaper (IS) printer preset for the MK4.  The purpose is to show the level of confidence I have that on any other printer preset, these parts should print quite well for the Prusament roll.  I didn't feel the need to do so for the Hatchbox spools.

The rails are going to test the limits of your filament if they aren't tuned.  It spreads across the entire printbed.  If the print isn't sticking double-check the selected material profile in your slicer.  If it looks correct but that first layer still isn't sticking, start by raising the first layer filament extrusion temperature by 5º.  If it still doesn't stick, raiser it another 5º.  If it STILL doesn't stick try raising your bed temp for the first layer by 5º.  If it STILL STILL doesn't stick, try incrementing the filament temp by another 5º.  If it STILL STILL STILL doesn't stick, double check that filament… are you SURE you have the right filament present for the filament you have loaded???
