Description
These are T-Nuts for the common 20x20mm Aluminium Extrusion profiles many printers are made of. I designed them for my Profore Original 3D-Printer to attach things like cable clamps etc.
While designing, I learnt that the profiles look all the same from the outside, but the inner dimensions of the slots are quite different. I had the original profiles that came with the printer and some other ones I bought in Germany to enhance some things on the printer. The bought ones have different dimensions on the slot. So I tried to design the nut to fit both of them and it works. Nevertheless, I am not sure if they work on any standard profile out there. Please print one (4 min print time on an i3) to test before you print a whole bunch of them.
They can be printed without supports, I used 0,2mm layer height.
PETG will be the best fit regarding material, but PLA should be rigid enough if you do not have brutal forces on the nut.
