Description
Dungeon walls like these are nothing new, but I know how hard it is to make a choice when it comes up to other designs. I will always find something I want to change, so I go and make it myself right away.
These are simple basic dungeon walls, pillars and stairs. Maybe more parts coming in the future. I'm not a 3d modeller, I'm a construction person, so everything is simple and straight. The parts are not meant to build large scenic structure, its a quick tool set to build encounter areas or lay out a dungeon on grid maps. I got myself a sorting box and limit myself to keep everything in this one box, so it's easy to take with you.
Painting is optional, I recommend using a dark gray or black filament and do some dry brushing. I used urban gray and intentionally didn't want to paint them, but changed my plan mid way, so I needed do give them a dark wash and dry brush afterwards. Using a sharpie or similar permanent marker to paint the grooves is also possible.
The inspiration comes from DM Scotty and his 2.5D dungeons.
Printing:
Regular 0.2mm layers or even draft settings are absolutely fine. If you're in warm areas, I would recommend printing in PETG for the temperature resistance, especially if you take these with you and they might stay in the sun or a warm car. But PLA works as well.
Using 1 inch maps:
If you have a 1 inch grid, scale the models to 101.6% and the 25mm come to 25.4mm.
