Description
I wanted to do a phone stand to take advantage of the ios17 standby feature. I wanted the ability to not charge when upright, but charge when horizontal. I found a small magnetic charger puck and designed this stand to work with it.
The model is printed in two pieces to avoid big ugly supports. The stand and the base press fit together and tolerances are tight, so you might need some sanding if your printer isn't dialed in. If it's too loose you can use some glue to make it permanent. There are also divots on the bottom for rubber feet. The charging puck hole is also press-fit and is pretty tight. If for some reason it's loose on your printer use a little tape on the puck to make it fit tight.
edit: Just added a version of the base with a little knockout for the cable.
This was tested with my iphone13 pro and a relatively thin case. If your phone is much wider it might not work as well. The print file is for my Mini+ with Polymaker PETG.
